Jerry Lee Cockerham

Jerry Lee Cockerham,(66) was born April 22, 1947 in Eunice North Carolina, to Roby & Clydie Cockerham, with two older sisters Venree Cockerham and Grace Wilkins. Jerry Graduated from Lincoln Heights High School 1965. Jerry joined the military in 1970 and was honorably discharged in 1974. After his military carrier He traveled to Spokane Washington where he attended Whitworth College, and entered an apprentice program for Journeyman Plumbers which eventually led him to move to Lakewood WA. He was a Journeyman Plumber with Boeing for the past 25 years. So dedicated and focused on his work, it eventually turned into a home away from home for him. Jerry had an infectious smile that radiated his kind spirit. Wherever he went and whomever he met, his impact turned into long lasting friendships. His passion for life and thirst for knowledge led him to become a licensed reflexologist and Jin Shin Shiatsu practitioner; relishing every opportunity he had to help someone in need. The sound of his laugh alone could make anyone feel better. His craving for fun and laughter steered him on many adventures including a cruises to the Caribbean; which was one of his favorite places to unwind and enjoy fine cuisine, music, and friends. Jerry is survived by his sister Grace Wilkins, three daughters Erika, Patricia, and Jessica, and was Papa to four grandbabies; Aaliyah, Josias, Payton, Graycie and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. Celebrating his life was his last request. In his last moments he was surrounded by loved ones and passed away peacefully.
