Nancy Louise Tong

Nancy Louise Tong passed away November 22, 2020, in Olympia, Washington. She was born January 20, 1944, to George and Marjorie Briffett in Renton, Washington. Nancy also lived in Lacey, Washington, for 56 years. She graduated from Olympia High School, and married Tom Drescher on June 28, 1963, in Olympia. She later married John Tong on November 13, 1982. Nancy was loving and kind, and always had a smile for everyone. She enjoyed going to Bingo, playing Bunco, and gambling at Red Wind Casino. She is a former bowler as well. She used to bowl in the “Mixed 4s at Six” league on Sunday nights at Aztec Lanes with her son, Tim, and daughter, Traci. Nancy belonged to Capital Red Hatters. Professionally, she worked as an administrative officer for the Federal Aviation Administration for over 37 years. She is survived by her sons, Timothy James Drescher and Scott Everett Drescher; daughters, Traci Ann Dresher, Melissa Michelle Tong, Michele Moore Finney, Barb Louise Drescher, and Robyn Deford; grandson, Aaron Drescher (Scott’s son); brother, Timothy David Briffett; and sister, Maralee Briffett. She also was a loving aunt to Jeff Briffett, Julie Maynard, Sean Briffett, Jim Holt, and Rob Holt, who survive her.
