Gertrude Ann Sanders passed away November 1, 2014 in Port Charlotte. She was 91. Gertrude was born in Chicago, Ill. on May 19, 1923 to Leo Sanders and Gertrude Hammelsen. She enjoyed a long career as a supervisor in the direct mail industry. She was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence and Raymond, and leaves behind a dear sister, Joan Allen. She was active as a parishioner at Saint Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, where her cremated remains will be inurned.
