David Michael Krauszowski

David Michael Krauszowski was born in 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, to parents Mitchell S Krauszowski and DorisAnn Harapat Krauszowski. He passed away of heart-related issues on October 29, 2021, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington, with his wife and children holding his hands. David is survived by his wife, Christie; two loving sons, Brian M. Krauszowski of Olympia and Douglas P. Krauszowski of Lacey, Washington; and his dog, Emma. He is also survived by his sister, Debra Young (Curtis) of Loudan, Tenn.; his beautiful nieces, Kristin, Colleen and Marlys and their spouses. (He would say our family was blessed with a gorgeous great niece, whom he called “The Princess,” and a great-nephew he was very happy to recently welcome to the family. He is also survived by his aunt, Pearl Krauszowski of Illinois. David graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a teaching degree. He taught school and worked for many companies, educating people on how to better do their jobs. He was a teacher to many in math and always could show you on his slide ruler how to work a problem so you could learn it a different way. David was a loyal Chicago Bears fan and was dressed head to toe in his Bears and University of Illinois colors and fan wear before his cremation. Services are private and the family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and love. A special thank you to Father Clement Piruwa of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where David and his family are members. David will be very missed. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of music, fascination and love of trains, and for standing up for what he believed to be right. NOW MAKE IT LIKE THE PICTURE!
