Toney Daniel Wons Foster

Toney Daniel Wons Foster passed away on April 30, 2022, in Olympia, Washington. He was born October 17, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Rothius T. Foster and Johnnie Mai Collier Foster Toney graduated from Oklahoma City’s Classen High School in 1968. He married Melinda Clark on April 5, 1969, in El Reno, Oklahoma. He continued his education at Oklahoma City University, graduating in 1992. In 1995, Toney earned his law degree from Tulsa University and worked as an attorney at Taylor, Foster, Mallett, Downs, Ramsey and Russell. He loved sailing and traveling. Toney is survived by his wife, Melinda Clark Foster; son, John Foster (spouse, Suzanne) of Katy, Texas, and their children, Jacob, and Kyle; daughter, Carrie Kish (spouse, Chris) of Beaverton, Oregon, and their children, Shanda, Taylor, and Megan; and sister, Valerie Ciembronowicz of Rockford, Illinois. He was predeceased by his parents, Rothius T. Foster and Johnnie Mai Collier Johnson; and sister, Jaci Harris. A celebration of life will be held in Tulsa in October 2022.
