Jeanette Whitaker

Jeanette Whitaker, 60, of Arcadia Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Jeanette was born on April 16, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to Lettie Opal and Edgar Whitaker. She moved to this area close to ten years ago from Brownstown, Indiana, where she raised her four daughters. She enjoyed oil painting, spending time with her family, and was a proud member of the Navigator Boat Club. Jeanette is survived by her significant other, David Hawkinson; her parents, Lettie Opal and Edgar Whitaker; her sister, Joann Fradenburgh; her brother, Alfonso Whitaker; her four daughters, Pollianna Brown, Jessica Loboda, Rhonda Zambo, and Jill Turner; and her eight grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday August 19, 2011 from 2-4:00PM PM at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 in Lake Suzy.
