August 11th, 1939 - August 19th, 2015
Ronald Joseph Fabean Age 76, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly Ortonville, MI and Clinton Township, MI passed away unexpectedly at home on August 19, 2015. Ron was born on August 11, 1939 in Irwin, PA, the son of Albert and Mary (Knebl) Fabean. Ron worked as a patternmaker for Progress Pattern for 25 years, retired in 2002 and moved to Florida in 2004. He enjoyed golf and photography, loved hockey, especially the Red Wings. Ron is survived by his beloved wife Joan, sons Ronald (Jennifer), Kenneth, step children April (Richard) Childers, Nathan (Sherry) Welch, Ron (Brigitte) Maday, Lori (Dan) Dutcher, sister Cindy (Randy) Szalma, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Timothy. Ron will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Informal memorial for family and friends will take place on Sept 5, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Groveland Township Fire Department (Training Center), 14645 Dixie Highway, Holly, MI, 48442.
