Katherine Martin

Katherine Martin, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Martin was born January 12, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to Victor and Palama (nee Grandetti) Corapi and moved to this area 30 years ago from Nassau County, Long Island, New York. She worked as a librarian at the Nassau County Public Library and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, Maureen Castelli of Port Charlotte; brother, Victor Corapi of New Jersey; sister, Agnes (Frank) Padlella of Port Charlotte; grandchildren, Ann Marie Allison of North Port, FL, John Castelli of North Port, FL, Jason Castelli of Lake Mary, FL, and Nicholas Castelli of Daytona Beach, FL; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
