Robert E. Disher 86, passed away at Tidewell Hospice House on Nov.17, 2011 at 10:45 am. Robert was born to Gilbert and Mary Yazel Disher on July 2, 1925 in Bourbon, In. On June 7, 1947 Robert and Glenna Bechtel Disher, preceded in death, were married in Lapaz, IN. and married for 50 years. Survived by daughter, Sheryl Disher of Sarasota, son, Gary Disher Sr. and wife Jean of Punta Gorda, FL. son,Kent Disher and wife Connie, of Cleveland, GA. grandson Gary Disher Jr. and wife Chrystie of Port Charlotte, FL., great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hannah, Braden, grandson Christian and wife Kellie of Rock Hill, SC., great grandchildren Savanna and Cohen. Aunt Evelyn H. Yazel Moody of Port Charlotte, FL., sister Carolyn Webb of Peru, IN. brother Jack Disher and wife Rita of Muncie, IN. also has 2 nieces and 7 nephews. In Aug. 1945 sister Bonnie Disher preceded in death. Both Bob and Bonnie loved to sing and play the piano just about for everyone. Music and directing the chore at church is what he lived for. Service will be held at the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church 11330 Burnt Store Rd. Punta Gorda, FL. 33955 on Wed. Nov. 23, 2011 at 11:00 am
