Maureen Castelli, 66, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Castelli was born January 24, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Katherine (nee Corapi) Martin and moved to this area 35 years ago from Farmingdale, NY. She was co-owner of Nick's Custom Trim along with her husband. Mrs. Castelli was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Castelli is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Nicholas Joseph Castelli of Port Charlotte; children, John Castelli and Ann Marie (Paul) Allison, both of North Port, FL, Jason and Nicholas (Cara) Castelli, both of Daytona Beach, FL; and Dr. David James Cox of Atlanta, GA; 14 grandchildren; 1 grandchild yet to be born; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild yet to be born. A Celebration of her life will be held from 4-8:00PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Castelli residence, 1525 Kolenda Street in Port Charlotte.
