Betty Mooney passed away May 14, 2023, in Centralia, Washington, her home the last six years. She was born January 20, 1926, to Frank and Jesse (Padgett) Sewell in Woodinville, Washington. Over the years, she also resided in the Washington cities of Ferndale (1972-2010), Port Angeles, and Aberdeen. In 1957, Betty married Bob Mooney in Seattle, Washington. She was a homemaker and worked various odd jobs, including bartending and daycare. She had a great sense of humor and loved to poke fun and joke around with people. She enjoyed road trips, camping, fishing, drives and family gatherings. She is survived by her son, Randy Mooney (Deanna Mooney); daughters, Sandy Harrison (Mike Bollinger) and Janice Perez; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; brother, Cecil Sewell; sister, Grace Sewell; and son, Larry Southworth. Services are being planned. Please check back for updates.
