Warren G Cook, 91, of Punta Gorda, Fl, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was born January 31, 1924 in Cohoctah Twp., Michigan. Warren retired from West Branch Rose City Schools as the Transportation Supervisor. He was a World War II Veteran, a lifetime member of American Legion in Hartland, Michigan and Fire Chief in Hartland, Michigan from 1969 thru 1971. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alice; children, Robert Cook, James Cook, Larry Cook, Penny Sappah, Leta Stokes and Thomas Gemuend; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, with a service starting at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 13th in Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home's Chapel, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda, Fl 33950.
