Louise B. Skramstad (nee Richardson) age 92 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away January 6, 2016 at The Palms of Punta Gorda. She was born in Harrisburg, PA on February 10, 1923 and lived there for 53 years. She was the daughter of John and Julia Richardson. In 1948 she married Ernest A. Skramstad of Velva, ND. They were married for 41 years. He preceded her in death in 1990. Louise was a graduate of Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA with a BS degree in Home Economics. She taught school for 28 years. She moved to the Punta Gorda, FL area in 1976. Louise was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda, Delta Kappa Gamma and Charlotte County Retired Educators Association. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church, 507 W Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, with Pastor Bob Carlson officiating. A light luncheon will immediately follow in Fellowship Hall at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda or the Salvation Army.
