Mary Jannelle Thurston passed away of natural causes on January 31, 2024, in Lacey, Washington. She was born August 18, 1947, to Kennard Paul Tompkins and Dorothy Ruth (Hand) Tompkins in San Mateo, California. Mary loved knitting, crocheting, and reading most of all. She also loved her dogs and believed all her lost pets would meet her on the Rainbow Bridge at the gates of Heaven. Even more than reuniting with her pets, she looked forward to greeting all her previously lost loved ones, especially her parents, grandfather, and grandmother.
