Ronald Scott Cairnie was born on April 23,1951 in Luverne, Minnesota to Cleo and George Cairnie. His Gramma Erma also had a son named Ronald who at the age of 15 was killed in a tractor accident. Because of the sadness, respect and love for her, our Ronald Scott (named after his Uncle) became Scott. Although the family traveled and lived in a few different states, they ended up in the Seattle area. Sister Connie, Brothers, Robert,Roger, Ric & Randy. Gramma, Grandpa, Uncle Roger, Aunt Fran and cousins Cindy, Cathy, little Roger also settled in Enumclaw. The families spent a lot of fun times together. After high school Scott joined the navy with his best friend Bud. Although they were stationed separate places, they did run into each other a couple times in other countries which made Scott very happy. When He returned home he moved to Enumclaw and helped Grandpa on the farm for a few years. While there He also bought a tavern, that only lasted a year! He and his partner found out it was a little harder then they thought, not just free beer and partying! After few more jobs He went to work for Boeing as a forklift driver for the next 14 years. He also was an electrician, school bus driver, driver (hiker)for Penske before settling down as a radiator tech. for Lou (owner, boss, brother in law & friend!) at Seattle Radiator. He met so many great co worker/friends everywhere He worked. Friends, family, anyone and everyone He met along the way, Scott had a unique and special relationship with each and all.One thing in common was mutual love, respect and admiration. It was at Boeing Scott met Cathy in 1986. They married 10 years later, May 4, 1996. Now Scott had even bigger family! Mom/Vonnie, George, brother Ronnie, sisters Debbie and Michelle, not to mention all the aunts, uncles, cousins! We were so blessed with two wonderful families which continued to grow with wonderful and special in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. All that knew him knew his passion for golf. He was a member at Foster Golf course for many years and looked forward to & enjoyed his Sunday tee times with Jesse and Dennis, sometimes nephew David and brother in law Ronnie would join. If they couldn't make it, OK by Scott, He enjoyed playing golf with any of the members that would let him join them! He also played Thursdays at Riverbend when invited by his longtime childhood friends Tommy and Spanky. Give Scott the invitation to golf, he was there, no matter which course. We traveled to Arizona for many years to visit family, friends and of course to play golf. We looked forward to these trips all year long, Scott started talking and planning next year as soon as we got home each year!. Although he didn't go as much as He would have liked these past years, He really enjoyed fishing. He also really loved yard work, we never had a weed in our yard! We were blessed with almost 32 years together, each year better then the last. Rest in peace my love, my best friend, Ronald Scott,'Nubbs', 'Scooter' Donations can be made in his memory at: https://www.chifranciscan.org/health-care-services/hospice-and-palliative-care/make-a-gift-to-hospice
