James G. Bonello

James G Bonello of Punta Gorda Fl and formerly of New York went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2016 with is family by his side in Port Charlotte Fl. He was born April 14,1933 in New York, New York to James Bonello and Sophia Gulino (nee Moccia). James resided in Punta Gorda since 1989 . He was a devoted Catholic. James will be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his daughters MaryAnn (Tom) Hebert of Florida, Michele (Robert) Osenbruck of NJ, Grandson Christopher (Jen) Osenbruck, granddaughter Danielle Osenbruck of NJ, and a brother James (Dora) Bonello of Pa. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Theresa, infant daughter Suzanne Marie, a brother Steven, and many aunts and uncles. For many years James volunteered for PGPD, Civil Air Patrol, Auxiliary Coast Guard and was a pilot. He was an Army veteran. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 211 W. Charlotte Ave, Punta Gorda Fl. A reception will be held following Mass at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road in Punta Gorda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida in James Bonello's name. Arrangements are by Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory.
