Jean B. Martens passed on November 9, 2016. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 16, 1924. Jean and her husband, Dale J. Martens, were residents of Charlotte County for 60 years. Jean was preceded in death by Dale and is survived by her children, Rosemary (Maurice) Daniels, David (Su) Martens, Delma (Jimmy) Tuck Sexton, Donna (Ted) Clore, Ruth (Jim) Cudzilo, Dale (Lucia) Martens Jr. and Richard (Tori) Martens; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. A viewing will take place on Monday, November 14 from 1-2 PM, with a service at 2 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda 33950. Interment will take place on Tuesday, November 15 at 1:30 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery. Arrangements by Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory.
