Carol J. Whitley

Carol J. Whitley passed away November 12, 2018 in Lacey, Washington. She was born August 10, 1942 to Phillip Orrin Evatt and Mary Evelyn (Dunning) Evatt in Seattle, Washington. Until recently, Carol was a lifelong resident of Seattle. She graduated from Queen Anne High School, The Class of 1960, and continued her studies in liberal arts and health science at the University of Washington. She worked at Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company, The Boeing Company, and did volunteer work at Virginia Mason Hospital for many years. Carol’s interests included piano, reading, and politics. She had great love and compassion for her shelter kitties over the years. She is survived by her son, Todd (Cynthia) Whitley; grandchildren, Maxwell, George, Garrett, Mariel and Jillian; brother, David (Nancy) Evatt; nephews, Terry, Clinton and Jay; great nephew, Caleb; and many loving cousins. At her request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in memory of Carol.
