Delta Christine (Green) Orlowski July 31, 1947 - February 1, 2017 Delta Christine "Chris" Orlowski, 69, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Chris was born and raised in West Virginia. Her career took her to Ohio and then in 1985 to the Punta Gorda area. Chris led a full life caring for her family and the community. She was the kindest, most generous person who would do anything for others. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband, David C.; step-daughters, Diana Orlowski (Thomas D.) Coe and Jennifer L. (Bryan R.) Snyder; granddaughters, Sarah A. Robertson and Taylor M. Robertson; sisters, Mary L. (Harry G.) Vance and Carol S. (Frank) Ferrell; brother-in-law, Michael (Doris) Orlowski; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Green, Evelyn Green, Mary (James' wife) Orlowski and Mary (Jack's wife) Orlowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Opie D. and Bertha M. Green; brothers and sisters, Chester D. Green, Corina M. Green, Ella M. (Green) Toler, Carl L. Green and Dewey E. Green; and brothers-in-law, James and Jack Orlowski. The family will be receiving visitors Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda, FL 33950, 10:00AM - 12:00PM. A mass will be held later the same day at 2:00PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy St., Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
