Gary Michael Maas Gary was born to George and Winnifred Maas onJune 28, 1945 in Faribault, MN and passed away March 24, 2018 in Tacoma, WA. Gary is preceded in death by his parents George and Winnifred Maas, Brother George Maas, and Sister Julie Cavelti. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Cindy; daughters Heidi, Natalie, Christy(Jay), Tammy(Ken) and Kourtney(Joey); 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and family members in Washington and Minnesota. Gary served in the Navy and loved to spend his Friday nights at the Veteran’s of Foreign War Club, in Tacaoma, Wa. He worked as a truck driver for Nalley’s and Maas Trucking was also a heavy equipment mechanic and machinist at Simpson Tacoma Craft where he retired. Gary loved to work in his garage, on cars and in the garden on nice days. Gary loved and devoted himself to his family and friends. Gary’s life was an amazing example of compassion and selflessness. He will live forever in our hearts and memories. An open house memorial for Gary will be on Sunday April 22 from 1-5pm at his home.
