James Melvin Twedt

James Melvin Twedt James was born December 23, 1948 to Levoid and Evelyn Twedt. He grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School. He was inducted into the Army April 10th, 1969 and was honorably discharged November 3, 1970. He was a bridge specialist and river boat operator. He received a Bronze Star Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and a Vietnam Campaign Medal. He married his wife Theresa of 45 years on April 7th of 1973. He worked as a union heavy equipment operator and retired in 2010. He has one beloved son Justin born in 1975, who married Danielle in 2004. We have 3 grandchildren Joel, Ava and Samuel, whom grandpa Jim loved with all his heart. Jim was an accomplished one pocket pool player and avid golfer. Jim passed away April 21, 2018.
