Mary Ellen Anderson, 76, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2019. Born June 4, 1942 to Tom and Helen Langdon, Mary grew up in Seattle, Washington, and was the oldest of ten siblings. Mary raised her family in Olympia and retired in Ocean Shores. Mary meant so much to so many, her humor and grace throughout her life brought light to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Richard (Andy); their nine children, Laura, Lisa, Erik, Katy, Joe, Molly, Pete, Emily, Ellen and their spouses; and 27 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, 12:00 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1055 Boundary St. SE, Olympia, WA, 98501, followed by a reception at the church and burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 3850 Cleveland Ave. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance at https://www.seattlecca.org/donate-and-volunteer/make-donation.
