Gavyalce Eugene Mobley Gavyalce Eugene Mobley aka Coach Mobe of Tacoma WA lost his battle against cancer on July 12, 2018. Eugene was born June 27, 1949 in Tacoma, WA. and he attended both Stadium High School &Mount Tahoma High School. He dedicated his life to the youth of Tacoma with over 30 years of coaching service throughout the greater Tacoma area including AL Davies Boys & Girls club, and Foss High School and he became known as a staple in the Community. Eugene started a second career as an astounding drug and alcohol counselor with various counseling agencies, which took him to many places in Washington including Tacoma, Yakima and other part of Eastern Washington. It was through this journey that Mobe dedicated his life to Jesus through baptism on October 30, 2016. Coach Mobe’s greatest wish is to be remembered by family, friends and those in the communities he served as not only a well-known coach but as a mentor who provided leadership, guidance and direction to the youth that he assisted. Eugene is survived by his 2 sons Singor Abdullah Mobley and Rashad Abdullah Mobley, 2 granddaughters Aliyah Cardinal-Mobley and Avery Warmington, his 3 sisters Gwen Crittendon, Patricia Walton and Brenda Littlejohn, and one brother Melvin Mobley Jr. He also leaves behind a plethora of nieces and nephew who will always remember him as Uncle Gene. Eugene’s favorite scripture; Jeramiah 29:11 ForI know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
