Leona Marjorie Kardynal-Jones Febuary 16, 1964-July 31, 2018 Born in Braylorne B. C. Canada Resided in Gig Harbor, Wa. Survived by loving husband Brian Jones Marjorie Herbert- mother Louise Wick- sister, Ken Wick- husband Taras Kardynal- brother Linda Anderson- sister, Dan Anderson- Husband Eight nieces and nephews eleven great nieces and nephews Proceeded in death by Taras Kardynal- father Ralph Herbert- step father Brian Jones Sr.- father in law Graduated from Peninsula High School in 1982 and Clover park with a degree in printing. Leona was in the commercial printing industry for thirty plus years. Leona loved camping with her husband, family and friends. She respected the beauty of nature and able to paint it with magnificence. Painting was her hobby. Leona loved her roses, humming birds, butterflies and always had a giving smile.Leona and Brian were members of the Gig Harbor Sportsmans Club, volunteering for duties such as printing the monthly newsletters, fundraising for the community and high school scholarships. Leona was also the chairman for the Gig Harbor Sportsmans club Friends of NRA committee for several years. Celebration of Life will be held on September 29th, 2018 from 2:30- 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, there will be a donation box to help us celebrate her life. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial, Funerals Homes, Chapels and Crematories. 253-566-1008
