Doris Elin Salay
March 4th, 1921 - June 14th, 2018
Doris was born in Spry Harbour Nova Scotia and came to Punta Gorda from Chicago in 1997. She is survived by her husband; Joseph and were married 53 years. Also surviving are her two sons; Joseph Jr. and Donald Salay. She was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Agnas Josey. Doris was a Homemaker. She was active in the Punta Gorda Boat Club and was also a Secretary for a construction company. Visiting hours will be in our Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, June 19th from 2-5PM. Doris will have a 2nd viewing at Sheehy Funeral Home (708-857-7878). 9000 151st St. in Orland Park, IL on Friday, June 22nd from 11am-12 noon and interment will immediately follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
