Wendi Kay Bundick Wendi Kay Bundick was born on January 17, 1961 in Puyallup, Washington to Susan Evans and the late Vern Dally. She was a proud graduate of Puyallup High School. Wendi was always an active member and unreserved leader in her community. In 1979 she married Bill VanBuskirk and had her first child, Katie VanBuskirk (1982). Wendi began studying for an Associates Degree at Highline Community College in Renton, Washington (and later finished that degree in Applied Sciences at Tacoma Community College). In 1992, Wendi married Leo Bundick; together had three children, Edward (1993), Joseph (1996), and Emily Bundick (1997). Against all odds and statistics she survived her first aortic dissection and repair in 2006. Wendi showed tenacity and determination in every challenge she faced, fueled by her unwavering faith in God. That hope was her anchor and was displayed to everyone who had the privilege of being part of her life. Wendi loved to serve and always had time for “the least of these”. She is survived by her 4 children, her mother, her siblings Carrie and Brian, and a multitude of other loving relatives and friends.
