Marc F. Novak, 66, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Complex Care Hospital in Sarasota. Mr. Novak was born May 19, 1946 in New York City, New York to Harry and Bertha (nee Padowski) Novak and moved to this area 31 years ago from Brooklyn, NY. He was a former Vice President and manager for A.G. Edwards in Charlotte County prior to retirement. Mr. Novak is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Proce) Novak of Port Charlotte; son, Joshua Novak of Santa Fe, NM; daughter, Heather (Matt) Novak-French of Santa Fe, NM; and grandchild, Isla French. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00PM and 6-8:00PM on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 (Kings Highway) in Lake Suzy. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Father's House Fellowship, 5289 Atwater Drive in Port Charlotte. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
