Charles "Charlie" Kelsey Bishop

Charlie, age 84, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2020, in Olympia, Washington, after a year of difficult health issues. He was born in 1936 to Roy and Rose Bishop in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1954 and attended Centralia College. Charlie served two years in the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea. Professionally, he worked in the building trade in Olympia, where he lived most of his life, eventually starting his own glass business with his partner. He loved early morning coffee with friends, trips to Palm Desert after retirement, golf and river rafting trips, travel with his wife, family reunions, and serving at Westwood Baptist Church. Charlie is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Stephanie, Jennifer (Ron), and Jodie (Paul); grandchildren, Sheri, Steven, Michael, Calvin, Thomas, Annabel, William, Lily, Lydia, and Matthias; several great grandchildren; brothers, Roy and Donald; and sister, Grace. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kelli; parents; and sister, Virginia. No services are planned.
