Richard A. Lange, 60, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Lange was born July 4, 1949 in South Bend, Indiana to Leslie and Mary (nee Weis) Lange and moved to this area 7 years ago from there. He was a self-employed carpenter and loved to golf with his many friends. Mr. Lange was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mr. Lange is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen A. (Hadrick) Lange of Port Charlotte; son, Geoffrey (Tania) Lange of Fort Myers, FL; step-daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Zobrosky of South Bend, IN and Lisa (Jason) Stieffer of Orlando, FL; brother, Robert (Linda) Lange of Knightstown, IN; and grandchildren, Chloe and Kylee Lange and Jordan Zobrosky. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 1:30PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy Street in Port Charlotte.
