Anthony J. Lipari, Sr., 81, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away on October 16, 2019. Anthony was born on May 14, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, to Salvator and Mary Lipari. He worked as a foreman for the NYC Department of Sanitation for 20 years, retiring in 1989. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Anthony moved to the area in 1991. He enjoyed fishing and boating. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Lipari; daughters, Laura (Bert) Rivera and Donna (George) Hilliard; sons, Anthony (Anastasia) Lipari Jr. and Charles (Colleen) Lipari; grandchildren, Alex (Emilie) Rivera, Gary (Jill) Hilliard, George Hilliard Jr., Anthony (Victoria) Hilliard, David (Kim) Hilliard, Kelly (Dave Pitocco) Hilliard, Kimberly (Michael) Datre, Kerryann (Ryan) Hilliard-Dicker, Bruce Hilliard, Anthony Lipari III, Nicholas Lipari, Julia Lipari, Charles Lipari, Brigid Lipari, and Patrick Lipari; and great grandchildren, Riley, George, Lia, Christopher, Anthony, Michael Jr., Boyd, and Scarlett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 21st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11AM.
