William "Bill" C. Nakano
April 28th, 2021
The family of William Conroy Nakano regretfully announces his passing from Covid and other underlying conditions on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the age of 62, while at home in Olympia, Washington. Bill was a highly respected electrician for over 30 years, taking pride in his service to customers, ensuring their safety, and sharing his knowledge with many apprentices over the years. While growing up, Bill worked in the family logging business and on dairy farms. Some of his interests included riding his Harley Davidson, coin and baseball card collecting, and estate/garage sales, always looking for the next treasure and dreaming up new inventions. Bill was a people-person who took the time to get to know someone and their family. He was an amazing role model to his three sons of what a man should be and how a man conducts himself. Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, David and Doris Nakano. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Nakano; his children, Hoss and Tosha Nakano, David Nakano, and Jeff Nakano; stepchildren, Chad Tipton, Joel Hadfield, Chay and Armene Webster, Donna Hammers and Mark Barton, and Alicia Kerr; siblings, Mike Nakano, Debra Paul, Dorothy and Larry Butterfield, Marty and Carol Nakano, Larry and Alba Nakano, Chuck Nakano; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His grandchildren, Dominyc Nakano, Easton Nakano, Miley Nakano, Julie Nakano, Abriannah Webster and Kiidyn Webster were his pride and joy! We are thankful that Bill was recently exonerated for a crime he didn't commit, so that he died a truly free man and can rest in peace. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
