Ronald Edward Jauch, 85, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Indiana, passed away on February 20, 2020. Ronald was born on September 6, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Margaret (nee O’Rielly) Jauch. He was a small business owner of Mid America Glass and moved to the area in 2013. Ronald was a school board member of Posen, IL district 143 ½ for 24 years, and a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles. He enjoyed antiquing, restoring antique Victrolas and clocks, woodworking, building homes, and socializing with family and friends. Survivors include his children, Mark Allen (Genny) Jauch and Renee Therese (Leo) Stanger; sisters, Ursula Gieser and Virginia Bader; grandchildren Trent (Brigitte) Jauch, Craig Jauch, Laura A. Jauch, and Taylor Jauch; great grandchildren Roland, Lucas, and Nicholas; and best friend and love, Laura P. Jauch. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Robert Jauch, and his son, Scott Thomas Jauch. Services will be private for family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
