Georgia May Morris passed away July 22, 2021, in Olympia, Washington, at the age of 101. She was born March 28, 1920, to Charles and Pharie Alma King in Evansville, Indiana. Georgia married Paul Henry Morris on January 24, 1947, at Indianapolis, Indiana. They were married 66 years before his death in 2013. Most of their married life, they lived in Salina, Kansas, where Paul served in the U.S. Air Force before his retirement. Georgia sang on the radio in Indianapolis before she was married. She then sang in the church choir and the Lindsborg Bethany College Messiah presentation for many years. She was a homemaker and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her sons, David Morris of McCleary, Washington, and Michael Morris of Tumwater, Washington; daughters, Sherre Brummer of Salina, Kansas, Barbara Onions (Dick) of Eagle Mountain, Utah, and Betsy MacLeod (Don) of Salt Lake City, Utah; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Vicki Stewart; brother, Raymond King; and sisters, Nora Huegel and Virginia Leavitt. There was a private family gathering. Burial will be with her husband at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
