Nicole Anne Dotson

Nicole Anne Dotson passed away September 10, 2021, in Olympia, Washington, her home the past six years. She was born January 8, 1980, to Diane Liberatore and Rod Dotson in Seattle, Washington. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Washington Tacoma, and completed a paralegal program at Puget Sound Community College. She proudly worked as a paralegal at the Attorney General’s Office in Olympia. Nicole was a very loyal person, and protective of her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with family. She had a strong mind, and she could do anything she set her mind to do. It would be hard to convince her a different way than she already knew. Nicole had a natural green thumb, and loved hiking and being outside. One of her favorite places was the beach. One time when she was at the beach in Florida after she found out she was pregnant, she decided on the name of her daughter and wrote it in the sand. Nicole is survived by her daughter, Gracie; parents; sisters, Kelly (Campbell) Foster, Kristin (Dotson) Nearing, Emilee (Dotson) Rodriguez; and brother, Danny Campbell. She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Helga Dotson, and maternal grandparents, Richard and Lou McDaniel. Services will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.
