Laurie Arant Brewer
July 23rd, 1952 - September 27th, 2019
Laurie Arant Brewer July 23, 1952 - September 27, 2019 After a courageous battle with cancer, Laurie passed away peacefully at her home on Anderson Island. With her loving family by her side, she was able to spend her last days in the tranquility and peace of her seaside home that she called, “A slice of paradise.” After graduating from Wilson High School in 1971, Laurie married the love of her life, Raymond Brewer, in 1985. Together they supported each other in Ray’s contracting business, with Laurie adding her interior design skills. More recently, Laurie obtained her realtor’s license and was an active realtor for Better Properties. Laurie was a devoted mother to her sons Chase and Miles, who will no doubt miss their mother’s gourmet dishes, beautiful smile, and undying immense love. She loved spending time with her family - enjoying boating, outdoor concerts, travel and volunteering at her sons’ schools. Laurie loved many of the finer things in life, reflected in her home decor, artwork, flower arranging, gardening, cooking and her beloved Siberian cat. She was preceded in death by her mother Fern Arant and her brother Michael Arant. Laurie treasured beauty, and she certainly left us too soon, but she will always be remembered for the beauty she gave to us all. She will be greatly missed. Please join us for a celebration of Laurie’s beautiful life Sunday November 17th at 3:00pm Anderson Island Farm Archival Building 9306 Otso Point Rd Anderson Island, WA 98303
