March 7th, 1929 - January 10th, 2020
John Gustave Raby, age 90, died peacefully at his residence in Tacoma, WA on January 10, 2020 due to cancer. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 7, 1929 and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Raby; his sisters, Louise Leavitt and Irene Raby as well as his daughters, Debbie Raby and Sue Jacobsen. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert and William Raby and his sister, Florence Stone. John loved nature, hiking, camping, fishing, tennis and played pickle ball into his 90s. A hypnotherapist for many years, he had a keen interest in the unknown. Many thanks to the Franciscan Hospice workers and staff that were so helpful and such a gift! A celebration of Life to be held some time later with family.
