OSWALD PETERS January 31st, 1918 – January 6th, 2021 Oswald “Ossie” Peters passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the Bayfront Medical Centre in Port Charlotte, Florida. Loving husband of now deceased Wilma nee Achat and preceded in death by his first wife Lillian nee Brito, his father Israel Peters and Mother Roberta nee Leu Kat and his 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Ossie is survived by his 7 children – Glenford, Joan Phillips, Russell, Marlene Williams, Raymond, Neil, and Dawn Mayers. Son Oswald Jr. preceded him in death in 2017. Father-in-law of Christine, Taff (deceased), Fatima, Neil (deceased), Brenda, Pam, Andrea and Erroll. He will be fondly remembered by his 18 grandchildren, 19 great grand and 4 great great grandchildren and all his nephews and nieces around the world. He was loved dearly by all whose lives he touched. He will be forever missed by everyone and we will always cherish the memories we have of him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bayfront Medical Centre Foundation. Please note that due to COVID-19 the viewing and Chapel service is by invitation only. Thank you.
