Edwards Memorial Funeral Homes - University Place
Walter L Mosley
July 31st, 1950 - March 18th, 2020
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my husband, Walter L. Mosley on March 18, 2020 in Fircrest, Washington. Walter was born on July 31, 1950 in Summerville, Ga. Walter was a very proud member of the US Army where he served for 30 years. As a respected member of the Armed Forces, he reached the pinnacle as a Command Sergeant Major. After travelling all over the world, Walter retired in Fircrest, Washington on 11-30-2000. Walter is survived by his Wife Susan (Shaw), Son Keith, Daughter-in-law Monika, Grandson Aidan, Brother Melvin Mosley (Betty), Sister Maxine West, Sister Patricia Harris, Aunt Louis Favors, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Walter will be most remembered for being a loyal husband and father and for having a wonderful sense of humor. He will also be humorously remembered for loving fishing, black walnuts, country ham, chitterlings, and ham hocks and pinto beans. Walter’s final resting place will be in Florida. The military ceremony will take place at a National Cemetery in Florida in July. Rest Well Sweetheart!
