Askia R. Williams, 43, was struck and killed by a train on April 22, 2020 in Steilacoom, WA. Askia was born in Seattle, WA on February 4, 1977 to his proud parents, David W. and Becky J Williams. Sadly Askia's dad was tragically taken from us when Askia and his brother were just babies. His mother moved them to Yakima to be closer to her family and he spent his childhood and teen years there before moving back to the Seattle/Tacoma area a little over 25 years ago. Askia worked several jobs and was a "Jack of all trades" but was proudest of his time at the shipyard and working for the Union. He also enjoyed working for the railroad and doing construction with his brother Tarik....Askia is remembered with so much love by his brother Tarik T. Williams, his sisters Denise Bulbula and family, Leslie and James Luster and family and Valschia Malle and family, his nephew David Williams and 2 nieces, his longtime Love, Keri Krum, his aunt, Helen Williams , aunt and uncle, Sherrill and Jim Blades, his cousins Arick Blades, Elmore and Barbara Williams, Teresa Smith and family, his aunt Pat Weddle and family along with several family and friends that will all miss him very much and never forget him. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his uncle Charles Williams and longtime family friend Kirk Toulouse.
