Joseph "Joe" A. Wik, Sr.

Joseph A Wik. Sr, 81, returned to his heavenly home on February 26, 2021 with his loving wife of 59 years by his side. He was born to the late Vincent and Elva (MacVittie) Wik, on December 17, 1939 in Amherst New York. He graduated in 1959 from Akron Central School. He married the love of his life Peggy (Deneen) on November 23, 1961. They were blessed with a large & loving family. Joe helped raise his five children with patience, discipline and humility. Joe was a member of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Church. He enjoyed wood working and gardening. Joe is survived by his wife, Peggy; his children Don (Robin) Wik, Geri (Jay) Cole, Joe Wik Jr, Mike (Robin) Wik & Tim (Londa) Wik, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Doris Ann Raduns & his brother, Andrew Lee Wik. Joe had a silent gentle strength and will be missed deeply by those who loved him.
