Our beloved Sonya Firkins passed away from complications of Alzheimer's on June 14, 2022, at her home in Lacey, Washington, where she resided for 43 years. She was born to Harry Schwalbe and Dorothy (McMillan) Percival on May 8, 1940, in Olympia, Washington. Sonya got her first job at age 18 as a Van De Camp girl at the former Ralph’s Thriftway in downtown Olympia.
