Christopher Briggs

Christopher Briggs passed away July 7, 2022, in Olympia, Washington, his home of 29 years. He was born August 19, 1990, to Ross and Ann Briggs in Olympia. He lived in Portland, Oregon, from 2018 to 2020. Chris graduated from Olympia High School in 2009 and attended South Puget Sound Community College. Professionally, he worked in various restaurants, including Apple Cup in Chelan, Falls Terrace in Olympia, and Russell Street BBQ and McMenamins as a cook in Portland. Chris’ friends describe him as kind, a good listener, and incredibly funny and witty. He was artistic and a lover of nature and animals. He enjoyed hiking, riding his bike, going to rally events, photography, drawing, cooking, and playing video games and paintball. He is survived by his father, Ross Briggs; mother, Ann Briggs; sister, Erin Peterson, brother-in-law, Ryan Peterson, a niece and a nephew, all of Chelan; grandmother, Marie Lewis; uncle, Dan Lewis; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Margaret Briggs; grandfather, Robert Lewis Jr.; uncles, Donald Briggs, Allan Briggs, Bruce Briggs, and Robert Lewis III. No services planned at this time.
