Carolyn Ann Gough

Carolyn Ann Gough passed away due to complications of ovarian cancer on August 11, 2022, in Centralia, Washington. She was born September 26, 1958, to Raymond and Louise Lynn in Philipe, South Dakota. A resident of Maytown, Washington, the last 16 years, she also lived in Pacific, Washington (1995-2005) and Kent, Washington (1989-1995). Carolyn graduated from Bellevue, Washinton’s, Interlake High School in 1977, and earned a two-year degree from Bellevue Community College. She married Ronald William “Bill” Gough on March 10, 1989, in the Seattle temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to being a homemaker, Carolyn worked in accounting at Benson and McGloughlin and REI. She loved knitting, quilting, flower arranging, gardening, soap and candle making, stamping, card making and rug hooking. She was a member of local rose and dahlia societies. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Bill Gough; step-son, Steven William Gough; step-daughters, Anna Julene Woodruff and Laura Cathleen Gallagher; eight step-grandchildren; and brother, Alan Lynn. She was predeceased by her parents. Services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3800 Henderson Blvd. SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
