Rodney Ray Rice of Englewood, Florida, passed away at his home on August 1, 2021. He was 65 years old. Rodney was born in Bluefield, West Virginia to Paul Rufus and Helen Marie (nee Bennett) Rice on October 19, 1955. He moved from Hampton, Virginia to Englewood in 2017, where he has lived ever since. Rodney worked as a martial arts teacher and carpenter and enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Helen and his daughter, Dena and is survived by his sons, Aric and Craig; brothers, Gary, Wayne, Ricky and Donald; and sisters, Peggy and Bonny. Rodney was a brother to 8, father to 3, son to 2 and friend to all.
