Jared Evan Hoffman

Jared Evan Hoffman 1986 - 2020 Jared Evan Hoffman, 34 of Spanaway, Washington and Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday December 28, 2020. Born on April 30, 1986 in Clearwater, Florida. In his younger years, he was a happy, fun loving, caring boy who loved to laugh. Jared enjoyed playing soccer, team softball, and skating. He was also a model of boys clothing for Jacobson’s Department Store in Safety Harbor, Florida. At the age of 10, Jared won the audition to play the role of “Fritz” in the Miami Ballet Company’s performance of the “ Nutcracker” at Ruth Eckerd Hall Performing Arts Center in Safety Harbor, Florida. In his teenage years, Jared attended several wilderness programs in Georgia after which he earned his GED certificate. In 2016, Jared moved out West to Tacoma, Washington to explore life’s potential and opportunities. He worked on a shrimping boat as well as a Laborer in various settings. Survivors include his son Evan of East Bridgewater, Ma., Valerie Mccolgan of Brockton, Ma., his father Dr. Laurence Hoffman of Tampa, Fl. and mother Diane Beth Houser , Stepmother Sandra T. Hoffman and Stepsister Austin T. Smith both of Tampa, Fl. He also leaves behind Aunt Carole Swillinger and Aunt Lisa Sliney, Uncles Roy and Steve Terepka, as well as numerous cousins and close friends that he made in his unique journey through life. A very special thanks and eternal gratitude to Denise Solis and many friends who helped care for Jared in his final days and hours. Also, our sincerest thanks to the exceptional Doctors and Nursing staff at Tacoma General Hospital for their tireless effort to extend Jared’s life. Also, a special gratitude to MultiCare Hospice for their loving and expert care and service, especially during these trying times in the health care industry. Funeral services will take place in Tampa Florida in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jared’s name to the charity or organisation of your choice.
