On Friday, March 4, 2022, God called Richard Craig Harrison to come home. He was born October 20, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Lemuel and Mary Harrison. Richard C. Harrison honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He worked in the food distribution industry for over 32 years then, retired to Florida in 2000. Richard was a bicycle and car enthusiast. He enjoyed racing bikes for long distances and taking road trips. Richard is survived by his loving and beloved wife of 21 years; Denise Ebron-Harrison. He is also survived by his daughter; Nicole, his stepsons; Corey, Malik and Andre, his grandchildren; Ashley, Aidan, Jerome, Richard, Cody, Dominic, Donovan, Ania and Ariana, his sisters; Brenda and Wanda, his brothers; Bobby and Harry; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and close friends. Richard is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Audrey and his brother Vincent. A visitation will be held between the hours of 10 - 12pm on Tuesday, March 15th Charlotte Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, FL with service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in the name of Richard C. Harrison to the Humane Society of Sarasota County.
