Cathie Marie Hodan passed away due to cancer on March 18, 2023, in Olympia, Washington, her home of six years. She was born January 29, 1955, to Violet Marie Doden and August Henry Doden in Dallas, Texas. She resided in Houston, Texas, for 45 years. Cathie had a unique style and class all her own. She was incredibly funny and brought smiles to everyone around her. Professionally, she was a Store Director for Kroger Company for more than 25 years. She loved stained glass, cooking, knitting, shopping, art festivals, and especially dogs. Her number one love was her children; she was an amazing mom. Cathie is survived by her sons, James Daniel Hall and William Edward Hall IV; daughters, Andrea Christine Hall and Carie Elizabeth Hoden; eight grandchildren; and her dog, Puppernickel Schwarts. She is predeceased by her parents, and brother, Stephen August Doden. Memorial donations may be made to any cancer care organization.
