Monroe James Summers III
February 2nd, 1974 - August 16th, 2021
Monroe James Summers III., passed away on August 16, 2021, with his lifelong partner, Anthony Crowell, by his side. Affectionately known as "Monj" he was a handsome man, who had a heart of gold. He would fill the room with his hardy, infectious laugh and he always searched for the good in people. He was a perfectionist and an amazing sketch artist. Fashion was his passion and when it came to cosmetology, he brought out the beauty in many with his makeup artistry. Monj was loved by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed, always remembered, and will live on in our hearts forever. Monj is survived by his life partner, "Tony" Anthony Crowell; father, Monroe James Summers Sr.; mother, Gwendolyn Wright McLaughlin; sisters, Talonika S Summers, Bianca L Summers, Elizabeth & Malayaki Summers; cousins Syreeta N Washington, Chase E and Hilary J McLaughlin; uncles Jerry McLaughlin, Rick (Kim) McLaughlin; aunts Carolyn Carter McLaughlin and a host of dear loving relatives, extended family and friends
