Jeanne M Donahue

Jeanne “Mimi” Donahue, age 72, of Port Charlotte, Florida died on April 16, 2023. She was born on March 25, 1951, in Boston, Massachusetts to parents John and Dorothy O’Connor. She graduated from Boston Business School and became a legal secretary and entrepreneur. Jeanne married Robert Donahue in Dedham, Massachusetts on April 15, 1972. She moved in 1987 to Port Charlotte, Florida. She loved walking the neighborhood and beach, reading novels, and creating art. She was tuned in to her values and current events. Jeanne was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Sergi, Eileen DeAngelis, and Maureen Campbell. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Robert Donahue; daughters, Casey Donahue and Meghan Barkley; granddaughters, Brittany Linares, Kaleana Hoholik, Emmalynn Barkley; grandson, Alexander Hoholik; and great grandkids, Andres Linares and Juelz Linares. Jeanne’s beautiful life will forever be treasured and cherished by her family and friends. She loved spending time with her loved ones while making memories throughout the generations. She enjoyed hosting pool parties, birthday celebrations, and special gatherings at her home, only to see smiles on each face. Every time she walked into a room, her vibrant personality, sense of humor, and infectious laughter touched the hearts of all who were blessed to be in her presence. Jeanne always made precious time to play games, pool volleyball, and made beautiful art with her family to share her creative and fun personality that will forever be missed. She will always be remembered for admiring the beauty and significance of butterflies to the afterlife, their spiritual renewal, and the immortality of the soul.
