Karen graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College, and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church during her 47 years in Longview, Washington. She is survived by daughter, Margaret Olney, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Olney; daughter, Katherine Olney Lloyd, and grandsons, Thomas Lloyd and Ryan Lloyd; brother, Ed Belsheim, and sister-in-law, Lisa Ravenholt; niece, Sophia Belsheim; and partner, Larry McDonald.
